HOW TO CHANGE A FLAT TYRE

Knowing how to change a tyre is a necessary skill for all drivers. Thankfully, changing a tyre isn’t all that hard! Just adhere to the following guidelines to be prepared in case you have a flat.

To change car tires, follow these steps:

1. Find a safe location:

Park your car on a flat and level surface away from traffic. Engage the parking brake and turn off the engine.

2. Gather necessary tools:

You’ll need a lug wrench, a jack, and a spare tire. These tools are usually provided with your car.

3. Loosen the lug nuts:

Use the lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts on the tire you want to change. Turn them counterclockwise but don’t remove them just yet.

4. Position the jack:

Refer to your car’s manual to identify the proper jack points. Place the jack securely under the vehicle frame near the flat tire.

5. Lift the car:

6. Remove the lug nuts and old tire:

7. Mount the spare tire:
